Patron and Ambassadors

Foodbank WA is honoured to enjoy the support of our Patron as well as our fantastic Ambassadors who understand the important role good nutrition plays in helping people achieve their best.


Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC
Governor of Western Australia

Mrs Kerry Sanderson AC has had a distinguished career in government and business and was named an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2004 for service to the development and management of the port and maritime industries in Australia, and to public sector governance in the areas of finance and transport in Western Australia. Anna Gare

Anna Gare is recognised as one of the most popular chefs on Australian television, most notably as a judge on Channel Ten’s Junior MasterChef, and co-hosting Channel Nine’s Great Australian Bake-off. The Fremantle born and raised foodie holds an impressive collection of accomplishments including a Logie nomination, hosting top rated programs on the Lifestyle Food Channel, publishing a number of cook books, designing a kitchenware range, running one of WA’s most successful catering companies, being a member of the 1980 rock band the Jam Tarts, and she even cooked for the Queen!

Jack Redden

Reliable West Coast Eagles midfielder Jack Redden takes over the reins as Ambassador from WCE Captain Shannon Hurn and will look to own the stoppages at West Coast in the years to come as well putting pressure on, in the battle to fight hunger.

D Martin

Damian Martin

Damian is the Captain of the 2014 NBL Champions, the Perth Wildcats. He is one of the best basketball players in Australia and has been awarded the leagues Best Defensive Player for the past four years.

Originally from regional NSW, Damian has played in Perth since 2009. Prior to that he played in Sydney and also studied and played in the US.



Scott Arnold-Eyers

Scott is the owner and publisher of Menu Magazine.

Menu Magazine commenced in 2005 and is published every six months. The magazine is largely distributed via hotel rooms, cafes and the food service industry.

Scott is community focused and he has published a cook book to support Cystic Fibrosis.

In his Ambassadorial role, Scott will be speaking to food suppliers and restaurants to promote food donations to Foodbank WA.
